Thanks for the useful info

Would be grateful for any colourcodes...

Its from 85, cost 600euro's. Previous owner was an old man. Only bit that is rustly is passenger door.. thats it. Got wheels a month back for 150euro's with new fulday2000's from a RS1600i, which the owner scrapped?!?!?! Wheels are mint
Ordered some xr3 bumpers and am waiting for some proper mk3 interior to come along.

Cheers Baz

I know what you mean, thats the only thing i was going to do to the bodywork, just the colour coded bumpers, same as ur cabrio. Im not planing on puting any spoilers on it, wel except from the standard xr front lip spoiler. Its looking very bare right now.... thats all. No kamei body kits or rear spoilers.

In the future hopefully a simple xr2/3 engine swap. Seeing its a bit slow.

the more things you screw into the panel work, such as XR front spoilers, the more rust you're goping to get...........

That's true although the holes should already be there.

Is it my imagination or are the mirrors a different colour to the car?

The holes are already there yes, but screwing screws in damages paint

The mirrors do look stratos silver actually now you mention it, and i did think to myself its odd for them to be colour coded on such a low spec car.

The mirrors are actually sprayed in primer waiting for the right colour to come along.
