Hi people have any of u with saff cossies 4x4 had problems with ur wiring for the fuel pump.What is the least voltage that the fuel pump will run on.If i had 2 wire up a new relay for the fuel pump without an ignition live how wud i do it.Any advice wud b nice.

Ive had another look at my car tonight n found that.When crankin the engine the permant live wire(red) to the fuel pump relay(yellow) is turning from a live 2 an earth.Sud it b a constant permant live all the time.Cud i not just use a new permant live wire straight from the battery to the fuel pump relay. Thank u for any help

The auto electrician came today n said it was a fuse relay holder which was badly pitted So he cut it out n replaced it with a new fuse holder. Ive noticed now though that the fuel pump just keeps running with the ignition switched on.(but engine not running)will it do any damage 2 anything on the car.
