N/A cam for Turbo application
Generally yes you can use a NA cam in a turbo motor, however depending on spec it'll more than likly have a hell of alot more overlap than a turbo spec cam. For certian situations this is not clever but it can be dialled out within the conifines of the valve train assembly and piston valve cutouts.
From what ive seen most cossie builds like a fairly low duration(260 ish) with 9mm lift(ish).
A "mild" NA cam could have the same 260 duration but would more than likly have something closer to 11mm lift.....possibly bordering on overly steep ramp angles which maybe force you into solid lifter territory.
Other end of the scale would be knocking onto 280-290 duration and 13.5+ lift....defo solids and too much overlap to dial out really so in effect NA only
All of the above is just part of my understanding of it, cam specs/choice go alot deeper and really should be spec'd to the specific build rather than using a general grind if you like.

Charlie Chalk, 1275 a series... that'll be single cam yeah? If so then you can forget about what i said about dialling out overlap. This is only relevant on multi cam setups as the overlap on your single cam is determined by the cam grind.
Due to your resto thread i assumed you were looking into option for the yb lump going in the rst
Single cam dial in will still be relevant when looking at valve/piston clearnace though.....although i'm pretty sure you'll have no problems running the std NA cam when turbo'ing the a series.
