hi all new here i have for the past 4 months been rebuilding my s2 from a non runner back to its former glory well thats the plan anyway,
I have got it started again and it runs nicely although really Rich until it gets to optimum running temp where if you turn it off and try to re start it it turns over but is hesitates on acceleration and wont idle and sounds as though it is missing and lacks power. Please help as this is driving me crazy
P.s
When i accelerate the Vacum Gauge goes down to poor but when i lift off it shoots up to decellerate this may sound dumb but i have never had this gauge before so i wouldnt no is this normal.

Guage is acting normally for a VACUUM guage.
Try looking at the ignition timing to start with.
