Gearbox Swap!!!

Please Help Me!

Can i replace my gearbox on my ST200 with a gearbox from a mk1 mondeo V6 ghia x?

I have been told that it might not work, because, i have been told by a local garage that it could be run through the ecu!! Eh?

Please help, i havan`t had a car for about 2 weeks now!!!

Just tried them mate, he said it would fit but the speedo drive maybe different and stuff like that. Any idea what this involves please?

Sorry never done it myself, maybe worth now speaking to a gearbox person ?, about the different drives.

Visit www.fordmondeo.org, there was a question like this on there the other day and apparently it can be done but it is much easier and cheaped to just buy a Mk2 gearbox.
