hi im looking for a bit of help ha ha,,i just got a s2 escort rs turbo it has a few mods and runnig 230bhp so im told.

what i am asking is it has 5th injector with on of switch on the dash when is the best time to be using this so i dont do any damage.

I have seen these things linked to a boost switch so i comes on at a preset bost but never on the dash.omg

 

as above you need a pressure sensor tapped into the inlet manifold that automatically controls the 5th injector driver
have a look at the turbotechnics conversions as these utilize these pressure sensors
bit nuts on a switch though,what happens if you forget and leave it on lol

 

a fifth injector can be independently mapable with a boost pressure switch activating at a certain psi, then connected to a map sensor/crank sensor/tps to allow different volumes of fuel to be injected as the revs go up, this is adjusted through potentiometers assigned to revs at 1000rpm intervals giving an adjustable fuel curve, wouldnt be very accurate on a switch though might need setting up or checking to see if its actually working
