Default xr3i turbo conversion

i have a h reg xr3i efi and want to know what i need to put fiesta turbo running gear in it i know what i need but the only problem im finding is the wiring?
is there a sensor in my loom for the map sensor and then just connect the ecu or do i have to mate the fiesta loom to my escort one
even though there virtually the same mangaement sort of?
any help much appricated thanx

They did do an XR3 Turbo Technics kit, but I doubt it fits the MFI management let alone the EFI one.

On and they are rare as fook to find and to do it on an XR3i your looking at spending about 3k anyway. So not really cost effective.

The best thing you can do it buy an RST engine, Loom, and ancilleries off of some of the lads on here. Should set you back no more than a grand.

try and find a rotten/side/rear stuffed 90 spec turbo that way u got everythin u need, brakes, suspension, kit and the interior,bonnet etc and u can sell the spoiler and a few other thing u wont need and make some cash back

ta m8 but spoke to lee at fusion and he helped me out alot with putting fez turbo gear in it so going to go ahead with that gives sumthin to blast around while restore my cosy lol

theres a site thatgives you nearly full instructions on how to do the conversion but i cant remember what the address is sorry, as yours is efi already i know the loom is just a matter of switching a few of the pins in the ecu plug around to accept a FRST OFAC ecu.

good luck with your conversion.

oh yeah, the site also tells you which pins to change.
