I have a problem and I hope everyone can help me!
My poor little baby is ILL!

I have a Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4x4 and the front diff has given up the ghost. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase one from as I need to fix my little baby as the Wife loves to go fast.
Now if there is anyone out there that is Married then you should know you should NEVER upset the Wife!

Please, Please can anyone help me out?

AH No!

Have took it into Alen Jefferys in Plymouth. He quoted me a price then asked if i wanted to find my own if it was cheeper than he quoted me today.
So I thought i would ask on Passionford!

I have no idea about the numbers so sorry about that!

i take it that you diff is the std one i do have some diffs but would need the numbers of you crown wheel thanks

 

I think it is a standard one as i have not done anything to change them myself, I will get in touch with Alen Jeffery tomorrow as i said i was going to look on the internet then give him an answer tomorrow.
I can ask if he can get the numbers for me then i can tell you, he quoted me around £380.

Are the ones you have new or used? By the way i do not mean to offend you with that Q!

i have a front diff sat in the garage if you need one, from a xr4x4 v 6.i am in tiverton

 

Not to jack this thread but is there a difference between the front diffs of the xr4x4 v6, Escort and Sapphire? I've got a spare one here but I don't know what car it came from, I would hate to find out I have the wrong one when I really need it.
