Default ANOTHER 3 DOOR PROBLEM

Went to get the car out the garage today for the 1st time in a few weeks, and the car wont rev no more than 2800 rpm (when the turbo comes in) soon as it his 2800rpm the red light on the dash comes on and the car goes to stall .............................then the idle valve keeps it alive.

Does anyone know what is causing this

Cheers

dave

sounds like it's a boost problem and engine management is closing it down(safe mode) start by checking ALL connection, amal valve and ecu plug at a guess!

Hi mate, ive looked at these today and everything seems normal. The car starts fine and runs untill you hit boost then the rev counter drops too 0 but the engine is still running, hit the accelerator and the rev counter jumps to idle again , even tho the red light is still on ???????? Basicly i can drive the car but cant go above 2800 rpm or it jults and the revs drop

HELP
