Default wider wheelbase??

hi all, ive got an escort with a wide arch kit, and want the wheels to meet the arches...ive bought a set of spacers just to play with at 9.5mm, and the nuts dont even thread onto the end as there is not enuf thread there, i need to get the wheels out about 2-3 cm...any ideas anyone????

or would i have to buy alloys with a big offset??

lower offset, not higher. lower it is, further out it sticks.

or wider wheels.

or proper bolt on spacers, as the slip on ones like you using are useless as like you say, you run out of thread.

you need ones along these lines...
