i just bought an fiesta rst

and on the way home the heaters stopped working

matrix is bust. water underneath it this morning so trying to get it out this afternoon. was fine when i looked at it but hey guess i shoulda been wary when no floor mat drivers side (floor was dry too )

now for those who say you can get the matrix out without removing dash - HOW?

i have removed centre console......a couple of bars that the cd player rests on. the gearbox console part

and there is a bar just inside the dash above ciggie lighter that the matrix just wont get passed

whats dave doing wrong here? kinda just after tips to get it free without moving dash

or am i gonna have to bring the dash forward a tad to get that extra inch
