Just a quickie , is it possible that your car can start ok and seems fine battery wise , but cant have enough to bring on rad fans ? just a strange things happened to me , and just need to know before i start testing something else .

If it's got enough power to turn the car over then it should have MORE than enough power to make the fan's kick in.

The starter motor demands more current flow than the rad fan ever will, plus that and the fact once the engine is running you also have the aid of the alternator.

If you fan isn't working i expect the brushes are worn or the commutator is corroded.

I had a fan that stopped working after it had been sat, a bit of persuasion and fiffling and it started working again

Whats the problem this time

But seriously as safechav say's it's probably just the plug corroded to the fan.
