Default FRST Running Lumpy

Ever since the alternator died my car has been utter sh!t, first i had probs with the alarm, which is now sorted, the car is running lumpy, someone told me to reset the ECU? would this make any difference and if so how do i reset it? i've had the battery disconnected for a few hours

Im in the process of Re-setting the ecu on my mk6 fiesta as it came out with EAC FAILURE error last monday.Car is in limp home mode.

Just reconnect the battery after say 2 hours and take it for a drive so it can re-learn the correct fueling.

Sometimes it will still run lumpy for say 5miles but should clear up once its relearnt itself.

Hope that was of some help.

Fiz
