checked the turbo
hi all youve all probley read my posts on here about my turbo losing power and oil in the pipes ive checked today and the shaft on the turbo has a little bit of side play no up and down,
now i was thinking correct me any1 if they no that maybe its something to do with the oil return cloged up or something so theres to much oil in the turbo pushing it out into the pipes.
what do people think
or could a sticking actuator do the same symptons

How much side to side play are we talking. A turbo that has got worn oil seals won't necessarily have play int he shaft (mainly dependant on how abused its been)
The oil return is a very good suggestion, if they are blocked then it will force oil past the seals, turbo's work on the law physics so everything needs to be right.
However, those oil return pipes go very hard and brittle, so be carefull what you do.
P.S i cant say ive ever seen another thread by you, especially in the last 3 days
lol
