Default Rotting fuel cap area

Can any one help ! ! ! I got 92 xr2i 16v and the filler cap has rotted through and i was told that i can get a panel to weld in . If so where can i get this panel from because so far i had no joy and need my baby back

Kiss of death that one! Had it on my Mk5 escort... cost far too much to warrant repairing it as I was told to change the whol thing and what was behind it too!

the best bet is to find a fiesta cut that on out and replace your my mk 4 escort has this prob and ford dont make it at all so ive got to get on of a car and put that on its just 3 tack welds that hod them on

Thanks peeps but have been pointed to ebay and found a repair panel just need to remember how to use the welder ! !
