Hi.

I have posted this question in another forum as well, but still no answer.

I'm having trouble finding a transferbox to a 95'Escort 4x4 with the 1.6 Zetec engine and the MTX75 gearbox. Does anyone know where to get these? Or maybe a new gearkit? Here in Norway this transferbox is impossible to get a hold of. I also have a question regarding the transferbox from the Mondeo 4x4, that also uses the MTX75 gearbox. Is it possible to fit the Mondeo transferbox to the Escort? Or are they to different? These are easier to get a hold of in Norway by the way.

If anyone could point me in the right direction on where to find such a transferbox, it will be highly appreciated.

my local scrap yard had a 4x4 mondeo in there yard recently with the gearbox +transfer box still in the car

Mondeo stuff will not fit. You need an RS 2000 4x4 Tbox - good lck finding one, they are very rare and you'll pay through the nose for one.

It's even more difficult here in Norway. But how about the Tbox in the X-Type Jag. Or is this the same as the Mondeo?. Is it possible by the way to get a rebuildkit for the transferbox? The box itself, or casing, is in order. But the gears inside are scrap.
