If the galleries have been welded for a cvh head, can they be drilled out again so one can run a zetec head again? What is involved and what would need removing to carry this out?

Of course they can.......but personally i would be drillign anything like that without having the block re-faced.

And also obviously, you are going to want the sump off, and EVERY SINGLE piece of swarf out, which will be an absolute nightmare

 

might as well wait till ive got more time and money before i do all that crap.can convert it to efi when i do that as well, be cheap and cheerful for the moment, as have got to give the car to my mum while i save for insurance anyway
