Default XR2 Cam Help

Hi all. Looking to order a Cam for my XR2. At the moment its completely standard, but i have a set of Twin 40 Carbs coming for it, exhaust and possibly a big valve head. Im now looking to order the cam so i got everything i need. However im a little confused as to what one to get. Ive got my eye on a Piper Fast road cam which will have a usable power band of 2000-7000 RPM. That sound ok? Anyone suggest a cam? Shall i order a cam kit? Any help is appreiacted.

Piper cams for CVH's are renowned for being shit, as in they wear out very quickly.
