Default fitting ice problem

Just bought a motorized dvd screen for my s2 turbo cab but havin real difficulty findin somewhwere to put it. coz the radio is usually countersunk in the dash it has a 2" lip over the top of it so the screen cant come out properly. Ive been told you can fit them where the air vents are in the middle above the origional radio hole. Has anyone else managed to put one in? Any help would be appreitiated

have you tried the headunit in the car??? as some headunits have sensors which allow them to pop out more, as my pioneer flip-out screen was like this!
