On a flat out run last week,blew a hose off the back of the boost gauge.took it out a few days ago and now on full throttle it overboosts to 22-23psi and cuts off/pops and bangs.
If driving normally the car runs fine.

Its a F reg 2wd saphire cossie with stage 1 chip,filter,exhaust and dump valve.has run fine at 16-17psi with no problems untill that flat out run.

anyone got any ideas to what the problem is ?
