Default ferodo ds2500 are crap

Yeh sorry lads, picked up my esc cos today, it has wilwood 325mm discs and calipers, ds2500 pads, the pedals strong but the braking is shit, hot or cold, doesnt matter rubbish

what do you guys use pagids ?

the discs are grooved, just wondering if ive glazed them with my 500 mile motorway drive, what to do lads ?

was using pagids on my evo and the bite was crazy these are just dull and dead, i mean they stop you but nothing like the pagids, will I try giving them a couple of real hard brakings from 130mph or something ?

its probably your wilwoods as i had ds2500 in my AP's and they were excellent , also a lot of people overlook brake fluid , put some castrol SRF with braided hoses and make sure you bleed the system properly!!

or they have been glazed over - get them out and rough them up with some coarse emery cloth or similar and bed them in again. but like above really, whats the fluid and lines like?

Cheers lads fluids been changed and goodrich hoses all round

peddle is really strong and stuff

Maybe its the calipers ? mayeb there just crap, but theres no braking force worth noting from speed hot or cold, as someone said il whip the pads out and rough the faces up then bed them in again, I think previous owner (sorry nik) was driving it like a sissy

or the caliper slides maybe siezed and not allowing the ads to run on both sides of the disk - be carefull if it is this that u dont end up snapping the disk off the hub!!
