non start when hot

took the car out for a spin yesterday, the biggest run yet and when i tried to start it it wouldnt have it, the lights dimmed inside as if it were to start but nothing. assumed starter motor so got one this morning but when got to it i tried it and then in started. im baffled

Its common to happen when they get hot, change it, stop worrying about it.

try changing the control module, they fail when they get hot

it was the starter but the piece of shit overheated and blew rad so being stripped as im pissed off

cheap pattern starters sometimes get tight or lock( the gear expands ) when they get hot stoping u cranking the engine quick enough to start it. get a proper one it wont happen again if its that anyway.
