Default Zetec turbo running problems

I'm helping a mate out who has got a 2L zetec turbo, with a rover turbo manifold, fiesta turbo mangagement (OFAB), 195 chip and beige injectors.

The engine runs but there is a miss on number 3 cylinder, also it's running to rich and can't seem to adjust the co adjuster.

any ideas would be much appreciated.

thanks

Are you using coilpacks, or the old style single coil?

Soz to ask but has the basics been checked, plug? plug gap? lead?

Was the engine put together or bought as a complete unit?

Has it been converted to low compression?

With coil packs it wont miss on just one cylinder. Either or injector or valve proble if oyu have checked the basics. I hope you are using 5/30 oil?

thanks for the replies

we have tried the basics got a couple of sets of new leads and plugs.

the engine has been rebuilt using low compression pistons had the block put together at the engineers, we done compression check and the compression is about 180-185 number 1 is a little lower around 175-180

we going to look at how the breather is set up this weekend as think this maybe causing a vacum leak
