Yes, I’ve got the same problem, but at least mine is consistent, and not erratic like yours. As I hit around 60mph under slow acceleration, I get a serious wobble on the wheel. If I accelerate hard to about 100 mph, I don’t seem to get it. I’ve replaced both front wheel bearings, had the wheels refurbished, new tyres all round and balanced, new left hand drive shaft, and my new steering rack arrives at the end of the week. If this doesn’t sort it, then I’m going to replace the front trilobe bearings to see if that solves it. There was a small amount of play in these, but didn’t look excessive to me. CV joints had no play, so no need to change these.

The bearing where the Trilobe shaft fits into the front diff, did appear to have some play, but I don’t think this is a press fit bearing, so not sure.

I’d be very interested if you get to the bottom of your problem.

Cheers
John

Well fitted my new steering rack, had the wheel alignment done and the problem is still there. Oh well that was a waste of Ł260 for the rack. I'll just have to throw more money at it then.

i have been told on good trust by Ian howells at racetek, that it will most likely be the center prop ( from the gear box to the front diff ) so i am trying to track one down as i cant get one from fords ( no longer serviced !!! ) will let you know how i get on.....
