I tried to run my cossie up today, just to warm it through as its laid up at the moment but it is missing really badly. It starts ok but you have to use the throttle to keep it running and it smells very rich and fumey, any ideas ??????
plugs if I had to guess - but check:
* if dump valve, remove vacumn hose and plug it while running and see if it improves
* spray carb cleaner around hose connections/intercooler to see if the engine revs up
* remove Idle Control valve, clean with towel and reinsert
* pull out spark plug and check how sooty it is - change if necessary
