Default RS1800 Central Door Locking Problem !

Hello all, im hoping someone here mite be able to help.

Having problems with my CDL, when i lock my doors from the drivers side i get nothing but when locked from the passenger side the doors lock fine. I have replaced both mechanism and motor in the drivers door, yet still having the same problem.

Any ideas ???

have you located the clip on plastic roung correctly around the barrel that contains the sliding contact for the central locking - it can be fitted back on with the post not located and so will either lock and not unlock or vice versa - depending which way round the post was - it need to sit in the middle of the plastic clip - its a bit fiddly to do in the door skin though
