Default spark plugs melting...

My cossy was low on power top end the last time I used it so I had a check of a few things found that one of the spark plugs had melted strange as it still ran fine no missfire
Anyway obviously running lean top end so need to find out what is the cause.
First thing I noticed is the Grp A fuel pump I fitted not so long ago is making some strange noises when priming and at idle, sort of a groaning noise anyway this don't seem right, could it be anything else other than the pump causing this noise as I suspect this is related to my running lean problem too.

Also what sort of flow rate should I expect from one of these pumps..

CheeRS Dean.

you NEED to see a tuner really, get the wideband on it and see how lean it's running, you could be literally on the verge of meltdown!

lots of things could be causing it though, fuel pressure needs checking for starters......

spoke to Steve Scott, will get it in soon, checked fuel pressure set at 3.5 bar vac pipe off but who don't know what pressure is at full chat need to extend the pipes.

I'm sure its something to do with this fuel pump as it was fine before I heard this noise.
