rebuild advice
im getting my engine rebuilt due to a melted piston, i nee to use .5m oversized pistons its a 205, i have a small budget, not sure what pistons to get or where to get them from, can i put 4x4 pistons in or not, i want to keep to standard comp? please help as the car blew up this time last year and i need it to run again. many thanks

std comp mahle's would do the trick. I believe 4x4 pistons won't hurt..
allthough make sure there's no difference in the resulting compression, since the cilinderhead of a 2wd differs from a 4wd

4wd pistons are perfect, has offset gudgeon pins for no piston slap and with a 2wd head drops compression slightly for running above standard boost. Exactly what I used in mine, I saved money by buying them from a show, but would recommend genuine Mahle pistons.
