Default Oil in air box?

My mate has a xr3i escort cab, mk4 cvh mfi! he keeps empty the air box of oil but a couple of days later and days later its full again!
Any ideas have cleaned oil breather pipes etc, it seems oil is coming from pipe from rocker cover to airbox?

Cheers Pez

Just a hint ...you are overfilling the engine with oil???just maybe...
there should be a small hole at the bottom of the air filter box...maybe it's closed
meybe the oil filter has burned and keeps stucking the hole

mine box has two compartments. one for the air cleaner and other for oil cleaner filter, both have holes down at the bottom

Shit breathers on these engines.Ford revised (changed the design) 4-5 times due to this problem.Try an after market breather(BAILEY).Also your engine could be on the way out.Try cheapest option first.

cvh engine is a notorious heavy breather as mentioned above, try and external pot that vents to atmosphere, as all that oil fumey crap going into your air filter means it obviously goes back into the engine. Not gona be best for emmisions, perfermance etc. Or just have a longer bit of hose going to underneath the car, bit antisocial though. lol.
