F.A.O FRST Owners Running ZETEC Turbo, Cooling advice needed
basically engine is getting a little too hot for my liking & want some advice as to make it run cooler!
got the usual
Standard FRST bonnet
Alloy rad, front mounted intercooler, good quality antifreeze & a 10" kenlowe fan,but stills runs too hot for my liking when slow moving in traffic,ok once on open road no problems
car is running full 16V 2.1 Zetec turbo, standard zetec thermostat & housing?
just want to know if other owners have simuliar problems & how they solved then
Cheers in advanced

You want to use a Rover 220 turbo thermostat.
Its rated at 78 deg
Also drill out the bleed tap on the new thermostat a little as this will help matters further.
