have a tdci that wont star just had the high pressure pump changed and reprogrammed the injectors but it is still comming up with fault code of ijector delivery pressure low it is now at 5200 kpa but wont star so i put a simulator on it and took the fuel pressur up but still nothink i am getting the smell of burnt diesel from the exhaust but it just wont fire. but if you tow it then it will start but runs rough and cuts out

can you give me more to go on? like was it all ok before you changed the pump etc? Why did you change the pump?

i changed the pump as the old one had chewed its self to bits and i had no fuel pressure 400kpa is what it read up as on my diagnostics machine and it wouldnt start unless towed but when you did tow start it it sounded like a bucket of shit and missfired. and now i have the problems that i have explained at the start. the fault cosde that pops up is low delivery pressure to injectors on cranking.
