Could I take a feed off the map sensor to supply a signal to a electronic boost gauge and if so would any one know which of the three terminals to use?

 

Yeah, analogue MAP sensors give you a linear output relative to pressure from say 0.25v-4.75v full range.. The pin out will depend on which map sensor you're talking about!

 

My saff cos 4x4 is a stage one so still has the stanard cosworth map sensor.

 

As far as im aware, its best to avoid tee'ing into the map sensor. It is a very sensitive and important sensor, and as far as ive heard, by teeing into it you can affect its response such that it can cause running problems one of which may be running lean

Hopefully an 'Expert' will advise you better but i'd hold off until you know for sure..........

 

You should have everything on it's own source on the plenum..

But he's talking about electrically, not pneumatically
