Default is it all in the mapping???

I have a 2wd saff and my engine spec is
L/C 7.2:1 , all L&B bottom end ,bd10exst and bd14 inlet both set at 110deg's, ported and flowed head, isky springs,3layer h/gskt, t34 with a .48 hsg and greys
I purchased a (400/450)chip that should run the car and it does run well i.e i am in the safe zone on my a/f meter all the way to 7k!!! i am making 26psi all the way up as well, however it doesn't seem to pull that hard in the mid range, it feels a little flat to be honest(about the same as it was on a t3 and greens) it doesn't really start to happen until about 5500rpm and above!!!

Is it just the mapping needs sorting or am i missing something simple here, i would of expected this thing to go like stink!!!!

i believe from what i've read before that your cams will have the effect that you describe - top end power.
