Default RS1800 no spark??

Hi guys,

recently i stripped my Fiesta RS1800 to a bare shell, including the loom for a respray. the engine started with no problem before that. Now i put everything back together again, all the electrics/lights work, the fuel pump works but there is no spark on the HT leads, hence not starting.

Any ideas?

you were right , changed the crank position sensor and it fired up immidietly. New problem now, when the engine is running it seems to be turning the self starter with it. you could hear it wining. The solenoid seems to be stuck
