Default RS 1800 problem

Ok, ive just started my fiesta rs1800 up for the first time in ages. It started first flick of the key couldnt belive it!!!! Anyway the problem is that all the indicator lights are on permently even when i switch the car off. Can anybody shed any light on this,

Probably the flasher unit packed up, pretty sure its plugged into the back of the stalk.

Barry, i just cleaned all the leads off from the battery and it seems to have fixed it.........for now..............

Hmmmmmm, doesn't sound hopeful. Ive been thinking about the fault, it wouldnt be the flasher, cos there would be no supply to the stalk, there would have to be 12v going to it aswell as another fault.

If its ok now then thats good but don't hold your breath on the alarm cos im pretty certain the fault will lie somewhere with the alarm.

Thats what i was thinking, seems to be ok at the mo, hopfully it will hang in there for a bit.........
