you will need a L8 ecu with std ford babyboard, as there is not enough memory in a L1 to write the code in the run program that the ecu uses.

putting a L8 ecu into a 3dr also means you need the pf09 tps to be matched with the ecu and the 2 outer wires for the tps swapped around.

if you get an L8, get back in touch and i can tell you where to have it done

hth.

the output of the lambda sensor needs to go to pin 2 of the ecu. the other 2 wires on the lambda sensor are ground and 12V power supply for the heater.

yes if it's from an ecu originally fitted to an engine with lambda and cats (green top late sapphire 4x4 for example).

generally, most modified chips do not run closed loop fuelling although they can be made to do so

I had closed loop lambda control on my 2wd cossie.I bought the kit complete from stu at motorsport developments.I had to buy a second hand L8 ecu from a 4x4 cosworth.I took the car to motorsport developments in blackpool for a set up with stu.I covered over 240 miles on half a tank of fuel! It worked really well.I have however changed engines now so the complete kit is for sale if you are interested. It includes the chip for stage 3 (greens,3 bar etc..)modified board, daughter board for lambda,Lambda sensor and full instructions as supplied by motorsport developments. This lot cost me a pretty penny so sensible offers would be appreciated.
