what does a standard escort rs turbo series 1 boost sit at & whats the max you can put it up 2 without blowin or breaking things?

 

Im pretty sure its 7 psi 1/2 a bar standard, you will hit the boost limiter at 10psi unless youve got a hearts and diamond ecu then its 12psi but you wont have one of these on a series 1 unless its been changed

 

just what i want to heer but i thaught you get a hearts & diamonds ecu as standard? am i wrong if so where do i get 1 from?

what if i get my ecu chipped? or would it be even better if i got a series 2 ecu chipped & banged her in

 

You should retain your S1 ECU, the majority of series 2 ecu's also need a knock sensor and a temperature sensor to work PROPERLY, it will work but not as it should.

 

If your planing on turning the boost up then it needs to be done by a tuner as you need the fuel done too or you will melt things
