Is there a difference. Is the zetec one better for some reason?
Cheers

What about a chrome CVH one or a powder coated one?

It was more to do with the way they fit poorly and bent and stuff. But i doubt the Zetec one will fit so i'll probably end up spraying/powder coating.

the zetec ones do fit mate. my mates got a 1.9 cvh and ts got a zetec sump fitted to it
They are much better because they apparently have better baffles in them to stop oil surge on hard cornering (which is one of the bad points of the cvh engine!!!!)
(or at least this is the reason the well respect engine builder gave my friend anyway......)

Ive been looking at sumps at the local scrap yard and im not convinced it will fit, the edges around the oil seal carrier and oil pump look very different shapes
