Default NEED HELP ON COSSIE STARTING PLEASE PLEASE PLEAS????

right hello again to everyone who has helped me on my way..lol

anyways, I have had this on going problem on my cossie, I had an electrical fault for many weeks now which I found to be the crank sensor among other things,

now I am getting a spark to my coil, and the car wants to start but for some reason I am only getting a spark to number 4 plug when I turn it over, but the strange thing is when I check each lead with a spare plug number 4 plug will spark number 3 will only start firing when it try's to start number 2 is the same but I get nothing from number 1 plug.

I have changed the phase sensor plus I have linked the coil pins out on the ecu plug an in turn I do get a spark from that on each plug,

I have changed the crank sensor, phase sensor, all new plugs, rotor arm, the cap is new, it can not be the leads as I do get a spark when I link the coil out????????????

I need help please if anyone has had this problem please tell..

I forgot soon as I turn the engine on I get a spark from the ignition module I think to which ever plug is engaged. even number 1, but I don't get a spark on 1 if cranking..

Are you sure you plugged the phase sensor in correctly inside the dizzy ?

Top wire on sensor goes to the pin nearest to the sensor itself.

Wrong = non start on early ecu's. Run faults on later ones.

yeah jon i just changed it for a spare one i had out ov another dizzy, i just changed it to the same way the other was fitted. it was doing the same thing with the other phase sensor.

i have fitted it so the green wire is connected to the left terminal in the dizzy.

i dont think my other sensor was faulty but i changed it anyway.

cheers

yeah everything is fine now its doing all the right things now...but not starting..

all the relays are coming in fuel is there, i know am at the last thing now, i was sure it would have been the phase sensor.. am going down on it now. i am just woundering if that ignition amp is not sending a strong enough signal. its like the spark from the coil is not strong enough,

i have had it ticking over but only on three cylinders, its got to be something simple now.

am back on in abit..

cheers.
