Does anybody know how the amal valve pipes up on a fiesta turbo? The haynes manual shows nothing, it says "fitting reversal of removal" BUT IT WASN'T THERE BEFORE!!!!! LOL. Or anybody with a fiesta turbo could have a quick look and get back would be great, Cant seem to find any info on the net anywhere

 

Pipe to the compressor housing, pipe to the actuator. Thats it, wastes to atmosphere as the FRST doesn't have an air dependant system.

 

As simple as that lol. Thought that would be it with there only being 2 connections, cheers

 

As simple as that mate better to ask though rather than get it wrong and blow it up

 

too right its a brand new engine. not running any boost but i wanted it sorting to get rid of the ecu error

 

Does the ecu store an error code for no amal valve connected?

 

It comes up with boost control solanoid, i assume its the same thing as mines missing

 

Yes thats the same thing. I'm only just moving over to EFI so i know little about fault codes, just learnt something though

 

My fez turbo taught me lots of things i would rather have not learnt
