You shouldnt have any real back pressure issues with that a/r then... What is the state of the actuator?

Sounds like it wasn't ported enough or the actuator is something crappy.. Might be worth trying a -31

Does this seem the right turbo for a 3dr Cosworth ?

The part number is GT32-73TRIM-78AR, the pricing for this is $675.00 and we
only have the internal wastegate available. The shipping is approximately
$119.00.
