ok, want to get the bottom of the s2 lookin very clean and tidy, body coloured, but also want it well protected

wot products r best to use??? the underseal is stripped, so wil b pretty much applied to bare metal.

want it protected so i dnt have to do this agen for a few years, and dnt want rust building up thru lack of protection

also want to do it body coloured, to match the white respray, so wot paint best for this???

any help appreciated

 

Use this stuff mate,it's sprayable sealer.The only problems are it has to be sprayed on using an airline and secondly it's £6 a bag and i used 15 underneath mine.

 

But the best thing is it turns out like this.

 

thats nice, is it silver right from the packet, or have u painted over it to get the silver/grey body colour effect???

not so sure i can afford that tho

are there any other slightly more cost effective options??? not meaning to be a cheap skate, but i wil need to seal, and then paint white, so want to keep costs down as much as poss, especially now im out of work

iv been looking at the sprayable underbody shultz i think its called. is this any good??? and i take it i need to use a sealing type underbody product, then sumthin like white hammerite to achieve the white colour???

 

Mercury Grey minter, where can u get that stuff matey? Im ready to seal mine up.

It's sprayed on then i hammerited it with mercury grey colour.If you want cheap i recommend spray on SHULTZ then SMOOTH RED HAMMERITE.

 

It's made by 3M ,a company that supplys the motortrade(BODYSHOPS).Ring around,there's bound to be a supplier in your area.It's called 3M SPRAYABLE SEALER.Hope this helps.It's £30 for a box of 6 bags and i needed 3 boxes to do under mine.
