Default URGENT HELP !!!

Hi all,

I have a little problem with my rs turbo. When I'm driving with it and step on the gas the oil cap comes of. I asked some friends of me what this could be. It seems I have a huege oil pressure , what could this be?
Could it be that i'm driving with 1,3 bar boost pressure?
Please could some one advise on this , I don't know how to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance

greetssssssss turbo paultje

sounds like your crankcase is pressurising!worn rings could cause this, which could be costly!it basically means that the boost pressure from the turbo is being blown past the piston rings and into the other parts of the engine and this is popping your oil cap off.

Could be as above, or could be as simple as a blocked breather.....compression test it and go from there

Hi,

I think I've found the problem. When je have the air filter system were the K&N filter is fitted on, I removed it and every hose which has to do with oil ventilation, I noticed that there is coming fuel in my air system , I made it clean again and waited for a minut and yes there is coming fuel in my air system, this explains the crap which was in my hoses and this explains why he smoking from the exhaust.
I put another fuel system on, that thing were al fuel hoses fit on, because that thing didn't close anymore. And started my engine en voila it was running no smoke and was actualy running better than before, i stamped good on the gas but the oil cap didn't come of.

i hope i have made my problem, and hope that it isn't something else.
