trouble mating with my exhaust!
Hi,
I have an Italian 2wd sierra sapphire. I needed to replace my exhaust and purchased a mongoose stainless.
However, on tring to mate the exhasut to the turbo outlet, it seems the mongoose is a couple of mils bigger than my outlet and will not fit. Its just too big to go under the nuts also
It seems that whoever had the car before me, replaced the stock turbo with a t34 from a Lancia Delta ( god knows why
), and then proceeded to modify the exaust so it fitted to the smaller outlet.
What do you guys reckon is my best approach,
1. Replace the Lancia T34 ( which works fine, and has not long been recon'd ). I guess this will cost the most.
2. Lop off the end of the Mongoose and weld on the end of the old exhaust. Needs a good welder.
Your advice would be most valuable.
