Guys/Gals,

I am having major problems with wheel bearings. The last set I had put in by a mechanic friend of mine have lasted 300 miles and I had a wheel bearing collpase on the M6 yesterday and had to wait three hours to be towed back!!!! bloody RAC!!!!!

Now I have never had to change any of the bearings on my previous cars and I have changed the following items:

Brake Discs
Brake Pads
Hubs
Driveshafts
Lower Arms
Steering rack

I know the ends of the rack are in bad nick but that should destroy wheel bearings.

Any ideas???
