i noticed oil is slowly but noticable comin out of the "raw plug " ?

Default oil

are you sure it is not coming up past the oil seal on the dizzy and running down over the core plug. looks like there is a trace of oil obove the plug.

hello mate it sounds like it is comming from the oil seal on the dizzy as the core plug is in a water way. failing that it will be from the rocker box gasket or the oil filler cap

cheers mate. it is the little o-ring behind the dissy that could be the culprit, so i ordered a full lowered gasket set and i will change them all.

hello mate it will be the black o ring that goes round the dizzy were is goes into the head. it doesn't come as part of a head set or part of a conversion set (block set). best off going to fords and asking them for it.
