s2 rear disc conversion
hi people anyone know whats required for this conversion?
can you just rip bits of another car (if so what bits off which car)
or do you need specially fabricated parts? i wan't to do this more
for cosmetic reasons rather than performance if it matters.
any tips much appreciated cheers.

Parts:
Sierra/granada rear calipers, pads and 4-stud discs
Fabricated brackets to mount the calipers to hub.
RS2000 Mk5 handbrake cable
Longer flexible brake hoses, go directly from body bracket to caliper
The standard quoted conversion will specify Cosworth discs, but in practice these are too big and will overbrake the back, locking up prematurely on hard braking.
Fitting the smaller ( and cheaper) mainstream Sierra discs is a much better match, and avoids the brake bias valves that you will otherwise need in the rear lines.
You will however need to make sure you get the right brackets to match the disc size that you choose.
Cheers
