Default gearbox trouble

hello just got in from takeing the girlfriend out and on the way home my gearbox has started to sound whiney and every now and again as you change down it is screaming any idea's im going to check the oil in the morning. its a s2 rs turbo about 190 bhp. my bet is that it the main bearing but will try the oil first

So was it the diff or the diff bearings? Just trying to source a working diff from a knackered box...

Welcome to the world of tuned RS Turbo's. Anything over 185 brake and it's a case of not if but when the box shits itself.
