what engine does the rs2000 run then? is that not a zetec?

nope not a zetec mate in rs 2000 it was one of its own kind not shure if mounting would still be the same would think it would b but not 100%
or get rs2k and use for bits like box etc

the rs2000 runs the i4, a 2.0 16v that was used in the formula 2 race cars, not as cheap as the zetec to tune
but still a mint engine

are you still able to turbo the i4? would it be a better base than the 1.8zetec?

no, zetec is a better base. i4 is heavy and not as tunable. get a 3i and put the 2 litre zetec in it, decat it, decent exhaust and you'd beat rs2k's anyway
