Default Right springs?

Hi

I have been told that the best ride height setup for the 2wd sapphire cossie is std, not lowered.

Mine is currently lowered, and causing problems (usual scrapes), plus I have Escort Cosworth Wheels, which catch arches etc.

If I raise back to std height will this make it handle like the preverbial bag of poo, or is this the right decision.

Also, anybody had chassis dynamic springs? as these are being recommended to me

HELP

JJ

Chassis dynamic springs are ok chap....I think AVO coil over kits use Chassis dynamics. Regarding the ride height, in my opinon a drop of roughly around a inch all round is your best bet. Either way no matter how much you drop it by, try and get the back about a inch higher than the front...seems to help handling regardless of overall drop.

cheers mate, useful input. I have had so much trouble with the car in the lowered position, I will try raising up. Interesting point on the front and rear, I will have a think about how to achieve this best.

I had been told that the ride from coil overs was seriously harsh for the road. Is this your experience?
